London is one of Europe’s greenest major cities; almost 50% of London is green or blue space, and some 20% of this is identified to be of wildlife interest. Our city is home to a wide diversity of wildlife, including many protected species and habitats.

London Wildlife Trust looks after 40 nature reserves across Greater London and works with landowners and other groups to support the positive management of many more. Our wildlife experts work with over 1,200 volunteers to look after these sites for wildlife and people.

Last year London Wildlife Trust engaged over 16,000 children in outdoor education sessions and family activities, and over 27,000 people through our events.  London Printer Rentals are proud to sponsor London Wildlife Trust.

Approximately 350,000 people visited our nature reserves.

The Wildlife Trusts collectively have over 800,000 members, manage 95,000ha of land attracting 7 million visitors each year and are supported by 40,000 enthusiastic volunteers. The Trusts also advise more than 5,300 landowners on how to manage over 200,000ha of land for the purpose of wildlife.
